On Thursday, January 26, Lee Ann Thigpen presented at the Loss Executives Association 2023 Annual Meeting & Education Conference in a session titled, “Loss Handling Involving Private Equity Insureds.”

With the onset of more private equity funding and investment, there are more instances where a policyholder has financial backing from a PE firm and loss determination and adjustment requires communication and input from principals of the PE firm who have their own agenda in terms of resumption of operations and interest in maximizing loss recovery.
