On Friday, September 30, Aaron Fahrenkrog and Emily Tremblay lead a discussion titled, “Standard-Essential Patents – Practical Strategies for the Rapidly Evolving Legal Landscape.” This session explored practical strategies for SEP innovators and implementers to position themselves to navigate the dynamic international landscape. Topics included what constitutes a FRAND license and rate, standing and jurisdiction for FRAND disputes and rate setting, and the availability of injunctive relief for hold out and hold up.
