Sheanin will present alongside a panel of experienced plaintiff and defense attorneys in the ABA webinar, “It's All Greek to me: Taking and Defending Foreign Language Witnesses Depositions.” Presenters will explore the mechanics of how to search your database for important foreign language documents, how to translate and review those documents in preparation for a deposition, and helpful tips for how to take and defend the deposition, including: how to manage time constraints, hire and check translators, and resolve translation issues on the record. They will also discuss techniques for taking a foreign language deposition remotely.
