Overview
Sam Black is a litigator in the firm’s Business Litigation Group, where he focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on antitrust, healthcare, and class action matters. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes disputes nationwide.
Sam is actively engaged in pro bono work, serving on case teams for Friends of the Boundary Waters and the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. He is also a board member of the Minnesota Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society.
Sam earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as Lead Online Editor of the Minnesota Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s University with dual degrees in Political Science and Hispanic Studies.
