Overview

Matthew Corwin is an associate in the Mass Tort National Practice Group in the firm's New York office. His practice focuses on representing individuals in complex litigation involving corporate and institutional misconduct. His work includes representing survivors of child sexual abuse in actions against institutions alleged to have enabled abuse. Matthew was a member of the trial team that secured a landmark $5 million jury verdict on behalf of a survivor, the first known jury verdict in New Jersey holding a religious institution liable for the sexual abuse of a minor.

Matthew earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2025. At USC Gould, he served as an Articles Editor of the Southern California Law Review and as chapter president of the International Refugee Assistance Project. Before attending law school, Matthew worked as an investigator with the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board, where he investigated allegations of police misconduct.
