Experience
Douglas Lancet leads Robins Kaplan’s Marketing and Business Development team and works closely with firm leadership to develop and implement targeted business growth and marketing strategies. A licensed attorney with more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry, Doug also conducts client interviews to obtain feedback and helps the firm use this data to enhance the client relationship experience.
Douglas helps the firm set direction for practice group-driven strategies, public relations, brand management, advertising, group and individual business development training and coaching, and market intelligence. He is responsible for guiding, executing, and supporting the firm’s business development and marketing strategies, including those related to client retention and development, communications, and brand awareness.
Douglas also maintains an active pro bono practice. He was named to the New York Law Journal’s inaugural list of “Lawyers Who Lead by Example” in recognition of his work representing Holocaust survivors in German government reparation actions. Douglas also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s LGBTQ+ Working Group.
