Overview

Justin Stidham’s practice focuses on representation of insurers in complex commercial and coverage disputes. Prior to joining Robins Kaplan, Justin practiced at a regional insurance defense firm where he developed and honed his litigation skills and enjoyed representing a variety of clients.

Justin graduated summa cum laude from the evening program at New England Law | Boston, where he was a Sandra Day O’Connor Scholar. He also served as Managing Editor for the New England Law Review and earned the Dean John F. O’Brien Award for Academic Excellence. His Case Comment on the Fourth Amendment and reasonable expectation of privacy in text messages was published in 2022. Justin is also an adjunct faculty member at his alma mater where he teaches legal research and writing to first-year students.

Prior to law school, Justin worked in the field of business immigration as a paralegal and as an in-house program manager. He continues to use his background in immigration in his pro bono practice. A first-generation college graduate, Justin graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Dramaturgy and Spanish for the Professions. While at UNC Chapel Hill, Justin was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and wrote an undergraduate honors thesis examining news media coverage of mayoral elections with LGBTQ+ candidates.

A native of New England, Justin is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire. He also volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts.
