Experience

Patrick Griffin is an Associate Attorney in Robins Kaplan’s Intellectual Property and Technology group, where he brings his litigation experience and technical background to bear to help clients achieve their goals. Patrick has represented clients in diverse industries across a wide variety intellectual property matters, including patent and copyright infringement claims, indemnity disputes, patent counseling, and more. Patrick also has experience in a variety of general commercial litigation practice areas, including contract disputes and litigation trustee matters.

Patrick earned his law degree from NYU School of Law, where he was the Senior Articles Editor of NYU’s Journal of Law and Liberty. Before law school, Patrick earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where he double-majored in Genetics, Cell Biology, & Development and Plant & Microbial Biology. Between undergrad and law school, Patrick worked as a data analyst at a Minnesota-based agricultural co-op and ran as a candidate for the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Prior to joining Robins Kaplan, Patrick spent two years at a national law firm in New York City where his practice included both intellectual property and commercial litigation.
