Overview
Diana Kawka is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology group. Coming from a technical background, Diana uses that knowledge to advocate on behalf of intellectual property owners across various industries.
Diana earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, graduating with a concentration in civil litigation. While in law school, Diana worked towards a career in civil litigation by competing as a member of the law school’s mock trial team and as a judicial extern with Judge Susan Richard Nelson at the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Prior to law school, Diana graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama where she was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.

Longitude Licensing Ltd. v. BOE Technology Group Co. Ltd., 2:23-cv-00515, E.D. Tex.: Represented Longitude Licensing Ltd. and 138 East LCD Advancements Ltd. in securing a jury verdict in the Eastern District of Texas finding BOE Technology Group Co. liable for willful infringement of three LCD patents, resulting in a $66.9 million damages award related to LCD display technology used in consumer electronics.
