Experience
Spencer Davis-VanNess is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Group. His background in print journalism enables him to cut through complexity and get to the story at the heart of a matter, while communicating clearly and concisely to and for his clients.
Spencer earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota, where he was an editor for the Minnesota Law Review. Before law school, Spencer lived overseas for nearly six years in London and the United Arab Emirates, earning a master’s degree and working as a newspaper editor. His time abroad allows him to better understand clients of diverse backgrounds and appreciate the types of legal issues that can arise in today’s globalized community.
