Overview
Courtney Lewis litigates for a broad variety of clients in commercial, white collar, and intellectual property matters. She has assisted with internal investigations, discovery, motion practice, mediation, witness preparation, trial, and settlement. Courtney has represented clients in consumer class actions, multidistrict litigation, contract disputes, securities investigations, and trade secret litigation, including in proceedings before the International Trade Commission. She also served as a law clerk in the United States Attorney’s Office in San Francisco in 2020 and 2021, where she gained experience with federal investigations and litigation.
Prior to practicing law, Courtney received a Master of Public Administration in International Development from Tsinghua University and worked as an environmental consultant specializing in hazardous waste and industrial hygiene. In her career as a litigator, Courtney has represented clients in matters involving toxic torts, renewable energy technologies, consumer electronics, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, internet privacy issues, shareholder disputes, and voting rights.
