Robins Kaplan Attorneys Named to Indian Country Business Today’s 2016 Hot List
June 30, 2016
Tim Purdon and Brendan Johnson, co-chairs of Robins Kaplan LLP’s American Indian Law and Policy Group, were named to the 2016 Hot List of Indian Law Practitioners in a recent issue of Indian Country Business Today. The annual “Hot List” issue seeks to “celebrate all good things in Indian Country,” and highlights the most influential and acclaimed people and organizations across a wide range of categories, including schools, music artists, restaurants, lawyers, and actors.
Tim and Brendan are former United States Attorneys for the Districts of North Dakota and South Dakota, respectively. While serving as federal prosecutors, they worked closely with local tribes to develop a collaborative approach that focused on improving public safety on Indian reservations. Upon joining Robins Kaplan in 2015, they began to directly represent tribal clients as founders and co-chairs of the firm’s American Indian Law and Policy Group.
Indian Country Business Today recognized Tim and Brendan both for their work as U.S. Attorneys and for their efforts as partners at Robins Kaplan LLP. Click the link below to read the full story.
