Thompson v. Medtronic, Inc. (W.D. Tenn.)
Robins Kaplan LLP served as lead defense counsel for medical device manufacturer Medtronic in a case involving allegations of patent inventorship claims, unjust enrichment claims, and trade secret misappropriation in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. The firm successfully obtained a dismissal of all claims on motion practice before commencement of discovery following removal to federal court and assertion of preemption of common law claims by the Tennessee Uniform Trade Secret Act.
