Following In Camera Review of Documents in a Discovery Dispute, Judge Rakoff Refused to Order Their Production

Adrea, LLC. V. Barnes & Noble, Inc. et al.

Case Number 1:13-cv-04137-JSR (Dkt. 59)

Judge Rakoff reviewed claim charts prepared by plaintiff, due diligence questionnaires prepared by three companies in contemplation of formation of plaintiff, and plaintiff's tax returns.  Finding the documents to be covered by the attorney-client privilege, the work-product doctrine, and/or to contain information available from less intrusive sources available to or already produced to defendants, he declined to order the production of the documents.
