Yama's Infringement Contentions Stricken, Case Settles

Yama Capital LLC v. Canon Inc., et al.

Case Number: 1:12-cv-07159-KPF (Dkt.45)

On the heels of the court’s decision granting Canon’s motion to strike Yama Capital’s Revised Preliminary Infringement Contentions (Dkt. 43), the parties reported that they had settled. Accordingly, Judge Failla conditionally discontinued the case, giving Yama Capital 30 days to request restoration. The discontinuance shall be deemed a final discontinuance with prejudice in the absence of a timely request.
