LOS ANGELES—June 9, 2016—Robins Kaplan LLP® announced today that Marie L. Roehm has joined the firm’s Insurance and Catastrophic Loss practice as of counsel, and Peter N. Foundas, Christina M. Lincoln, and Aaron J. Sussman join as associates. Roehm will be based in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, Sussman and Lincoln in Los Angeles, and Foundas in Boston.

Marie L. Roehm has 35 years of experience with insurance coverage and issues related to claims handling, representing insurers in California and nationally. Most of her insurance work arises from commercial general liability and property policies, where she works with clients on issues arising throughout a policy’s lifespan, providing advice, and, when needed, conflict resolution, including arbitration or civil litigation. Roehm holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School. She previously worked with the insurance claims third party administrator Blair & Company and the law firm Nixon Peabody LLP.
Over the course of his career, Peter N. Foundas has represented clients of all sizes, from large corporations to individual homeowners. His practice focuses on general liability, professional malpractice, product liability, construction litigation, and commercial disputes. Foundas obtained his J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Boston College Law School. He was previously an associate with Morrison Mahoney LLP.
Christina M. Lincoln has a strong background in business litigation, representing clients through SEC and AG investigations, and on matters involving breaches of contract. At Robins Kaplan she will continue to build her business litigation practice and will devote particular focus to building expertise in insurance litigation involving catastrophic loss claims made by first-party insureds. Lincoln is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley School of Law. She was previously an associate with Newmeyer & Dillion.
Aaron J. Sussman has spent his entire legal career adjudicating complex matters, leading them to and through trial. He has represented insurers, government entities, and consumers through every stage of litigation, and recently focused on insurance fraud cases in construction and contracting for the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office. Sussman earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
