Robins Kaplan Recognized in 6th Annual Global Law Experts Awards

When Global Law Experts (GLE) conducted an extensive survey to identify the top law firms and the top attorneys across a wide range of practice areas, that search led to Robins Kaplan LLP in two separate categories.
GLE recognized Robins Kaplan LLP as the 2015 Maritime Law Firm of the Year in California. Robins Kaplan’s admiralty and maritime lawyers prosecute and defend complex, multi-party catastrophe cases in jurisdictions across the United States. The firm’s reputation is backed by extensive trial experience and a strong record of insurance industry results.
Eric Magnuson, a partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office, was also named the 2015 Appellate Attorney of the Year in Minnesota. For more than thirty years, Eric has focused his practice almost exclusively on appeals in state and federal courts. He is the former Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court.
In selecting candidates for the Global Law Experts Awards, GLE conducted an extensive nomination and research process that included over 100,000 responses from businesses, law firms, and individuals. These shortlisted candidates were then judged based on client testimonials, key cases, legal rankings, overall reputation, publication contributions, speaking engagements, and the performance and standing of teams and individual lawyers.
