Robins Kaplan Partner Named President-Elect of the Massachusetts Bar Association

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Chris Sullivan, partner in the firm’s Boston office, has been elected president-elect of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA). His one-year term as president-elect will begin on September 1, 2016.

Chris has long been an active member of the MBA. His previous leadership positions include vice president of the MBA, chair of the Membership Committee, member of the Executive Management Board, and member of the House of Delegates. Chris has also served on the MBA’s Civil Litigation Section Council and the Federal Practices and Procedures Committee.

An accomplished trial lawyer with more than 40 years of experience, Chris focuses his practice on civil jury trials of complex litigation matters, such as financial and securities cases and intellectual property matters. Over the course of his career, he has resolved more than 300 lawsuits in a wide range of practice areas.

In addition to his involvement in the MBA, Chris has held a number of leadership positions in the Federal Bar Association, including past service as president and executive board member of the FBA’s Massachusetts Chapter. Chris is also a fellow in several bar-related charities, including the American Bar Foundation, the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, and Foundation of the Federal Bar Association.
