Robins Kaplan LLP Earns Top Marks in 2016 Corporate Equality Index

Robins Kaplan Earns 100 percent on Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Fourteenth Annual Scorecard on LGBT Workplace Equality

Robins Kaplan, a premier trial law firm with more than 220 attorneys in six major cities, proudly announced that it received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Robins Kaplan joins the ranks of 407 major U.S. businesses and 95 law firms that also earned top marks this year. This is the eighth year Robins Kaplan has achieved this prestigious ranking.

The 2016 CEI rated 1,027 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Robins Kaplan’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
