Melissa D’Alelio Named a 2013 “Up & Coming Lawyer”

Melissa D’Alelio, attorney in the Boston office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., was recently named an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. According to the publication, the award is reserved for Massachusetts lawyers who have been members of the bar for 10 years or less, but who have already distinguished themselves in some manner and appear poised for even greater accomplishments. She was among 23 honorees state-wide to be presented with the award on May 2, 2013.

Ms. D’Alelio is a member of the firm’s Insurance and Catastrophic Loss Group, and focuses her practice on the areas of property insurance, liability insurance, bad faith actions, reinsurance, property subrogation, and appraisals and references. Ms. D’Alelio also works on business litigation, and personal injury matters. She is a member of various professional associations and has held leadership positions with the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association and the American Bar Association’s Property Insurance Law Committee. She has also been engaged in the community through her work on the Equal Justice Coalition, Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project, Boston Lawyer’s Group Mentor Program, and mock trial program coach at inner-city Monument High School. Ms. D’Alelio earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
