The American College of Trial Lawyers recently elected Kathleen Flynn Peterson, a partner at Robins Kaplan LLP, to its board of regents. Kathleen joins five officers and 14 other regents to serve as the managing body of the College.
The American College of Trial Lawyers is an honorary association comprised of experienced trial lawyers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico who have mastered the art of advocacy and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. Membership is by invitation only, and comprises just one percent of the attorneys in any individual state or province.
An accomplished trial attorney, Kathleen focuses her practice on the representation of individuals and families who have experienced injury or death as a result of medical negligence. She has received numerous recognitions and awards for her contributions to the legal profession, including Minnesota Lawyer's 2010 "Circle of Excellence," honoring the multiple years the publication has named her an "Attorney of the Year."
Kathleen has served as a leader in a variety of professional organizations. She has previously served as the president of the Minnesota Association for Justice, the Minnesota Chapter of the American Board of Trial Attorneys, and American Association for Justice, the nation’s largest plaintiff's trial bar.
