New York, December 2013 – Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. is pleased to welcome Paul V. LiCalsi as a partner in the Business Litigation and Entertainment and Media Litigation practices in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. LiCalsi handles a wide variety of commercial litigation cases with a special emphasis on work in the entertainment and media industries, including intellectual property, Internet rights, unfair competition, publicity rights, and contract and commercial disputes. He previously was a partner with Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP.

His reputation, experience and knowledge are a terrific complement, and he provides significant depth of service in New York,” said Ronald J. Mr. LiCalsi is the long-standing attorney for the Beatles in the United States, representing Apple Corps Limited in contentious and non-contentious matters involving copyright, trademark, intellectual property policing and licensing, and litigation. Other high-profile representations have included Taylor Swift, Elton John, Billy Joel, Dominick Dunne, Scholastic Inc., and American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
Mr. LiCalsi is a frequent speaker on entertainment and intellectual property topics and serves as the co-chairman of the Litigation Committee of New York State Bar Association Entertainment and Sports Law Section. He has been recognized for his accomplishments by The Hollywood Reporter, Esq. as one of the "100 Top Outside Counsel in the Entertainment Industry" and by New York Super Lawyers as one of the "Top 5% of lawyers in New York."
He earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, with Honors, and his B.A., cum laude, from Yale University.
