Christopher Larus Named to IAM Strategy 300 List of Leading IP Strategists

June 28, 2017

Minneapolis, MN—June 28, 2017—Robins Kaplan LLP® is pleased to announce that Christopher Larus,  partner and chair of the firm’s Minneapolis IP and Technology Litigation Group, has been named to the 2017 IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists list. The award honors lawyers who are changing the ways in which intellectual property is protected and managed, raising the bar on the practice of patent, trade secret, trademark and copyright law, and leading innovation in the field.

The IAM research team spoke with a wide range of senior corporate IP managers in North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as third-party IP service providers, in order to identify the selected individuals. These leaders are recognized for the creation, development, and deployment of strategies that enable IP owners to gain maximum value from their portfolios. Only those who were nominated multiple times by different parties are listed in the IAM Strategy 300.

For more than 25 years, Larus has helped leading technology companies protect and monetize their intellectual property. He tries complex patent, trade secret, trademark, and copyright and licensing dispute cases in courts throughout the United States in both national and international arbitration. He led the development of Robins Kaplan’s Pinpoint IP™ patent analytic software, which provides clients data-driven inputs to assist in identifying patent assets most likely to drive substantial value in licensing and enforcement.

Larus was recently named an Intellectual Property Trailblazer by The National Law Journal, and has been recognized on the IAM 1000: The World's Leading Patent Practitioners list since 2014
