August 23, 2022

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Chris Messerly, a recently retired partner at the firm, received the Minnesota Association for Justice (MAJ) 2022 Champion of Justice Award.

The annual Champion of Justice Award, previously known as the Lifetime Achievement Award, is presented to a MAJ member who has a proven legacy of commitment to justice, the profession of law, and MAJ over a career lifetime. It recognizes an attorney in practice for more than 25 years, and is intended to be one of the highest honors bestowed by MAJ.

Chris Messerly began his career at Robins Kaplan in 1981 as a part-time messenger, weekend receptionist, and clerical aid. He then committed 35 years of his life to representing families and individuals who were injured in cases involving medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability, and harm caused by wrongdoers. He previously served as president of MAJ and has been a member of the association for 35 years.
