Shui Li is a registered patent attorney who focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation. Shui’s multidisciplinary background and her passion for innovation are the driving forces behind her approach to the law.
Shui attended the University of Wisconsin Law School. While attending law school, she served as the President of the Intellectual Property Student Organization to promote policy discussions in intellectual property law. Shui was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Justice Michael Gableman of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where she gained insight into appellate advocacy.
Before law school, Shui obtained her Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Her research on nucleic acid analogs as anticancer agents can be found in the peer-reviewed journal Molecular Pharmaceutics. She believes her training in the chemical and pharmaceutical sciences adds a unique perspective to her legal insights.
Shui speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and enjoys visiting her hometown of Beijing, China.
