Elizabeth Friedman represents businesses in complex antitrust litigation. She is currently a lead associate in In re Merck Mumps Vaccine Antitrust Litigation, a proposed class action against Merck for allegedly obtaining an unlawful monopoly by falsely touting the efficacy of its mumps vaccine. Ms. Friedman is also active in the investigation and development of new antitrust matters.
She has experience representing clients in government antitrust investigations and defending clients in complex commercial litigation as well. Additionally, Ms. Friedman has worked with Her Justice, Sanctuary For Families, and the New York Legal Assistance Group to provide pro bono assistance, including several matters under the Violence Against Women Act.
