Charles Cannizzaro practices in insurance and catastrophic loss litigation. He has experience in both commercial liability and commercial property coverage matters. Mr. Cannizzaro worked as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable James M. Johnson (Ret.) of the Washington State Supreme Court, and as a Term Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. With his first-hand experience in the judicial decision-making process in state and federal courts, he provides a wealth of insight and knowledge to each case.
Mr. Cannizzaro attended law school at Pepperdine University School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude (top 2% of his class), and Order of the Coif. While in law school, he served as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing, was an Associate Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review, and worked as an adjunct member of a litigation team for two summers with a law firm near Washington, D.C. Mr. Cannizzaro also brings experience as a law clerk with the Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic, and as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Sandra S. Ikuta of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
