In re Botanic Oil Innovations, Inc.

Represented Botanic Oil Innovations, Inc. (BOI) in an internal investigation and related litigation against one of its competitors and a former BOI board member who had entered into a contractual agreement with that competitor. The litigation alleged a variety claims including, misappropriation of trade secrets, copyright infringement, and violation of Minnesota's Deceptive Trade Practices Act. The former board member agreed to a favorable settlement and BOI ultimately obtained a default judgment of $4,869,288 against its competitor.
