Robins Kaplan LLP, a national law firm based in downtown Minneapolis, seeks a talented, detail-oriented, “go-getter” who wants to learn about an interesting and unique niche of Human Resources.  This temporary/summer position is ideal for a college student studying Human Resources or Business. Our new team member will provide clerical support to the Attorney Recruiting department.  This department’s responsibility is to continually improve the vitality, reputation, growth and profitability of the firm through effective attorney selection and recruitment strategies.

The Recruiting Clerk’s responsibilities include maintenance of recruiting-related databases, administrative support for campus interviewing program, interview scheduling, posting jobs to various external job boards, administrative support for training programs and event planning.  Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, exceptional skill in Word, Excel, Outlook, and be comfortable working in databases.  Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities is essential.  A high school diploma is required with at least 2 years of college coursework.

The position will start in early June and last through mid-September. Hours will be 37.5 per week during the summer and 15 – 20 hours a week in September. Pay is $12.00 per hour or commensurate with experience.
